My Graduation Bash!

Well, if you have visited my blog earlier and had read “About Me”, then it read like:

I am Medha Ghosh. As of now, I’m basically a student in her way to complete her graduation (Ah! counting days...sigh!). I'm also an amateur plantsman,a blogger, a poet and an aspiring writer.

Well, finally I've completed my graduation (as one can easily guess from the title) from the very reputed and renowned Calcutta University. The result came out on Friday at 2 and am yet, to collect it (Saturday being a university holiday).

Back From Time Travel...

A few days back I found an old buddy on Facebook. Pleasure rushed through me as if I had made a great discovery. Although, I do have many old friends on my friend list but it still seemed special, given the fact that I left my city long ago. Well, coming to that friend, he was actually a senior. But the bond we shared was not of a typical senior-junior of school. To me, he was like my elder brother (as we were family friends), with whom I used to do my share of mischieves. I have my store of memories with him.  :D :D :D

Celebrating Re‘Public’ Day

The date 26th January takes its sovereign position in any Indian calendar. Bearing the face of an Indian’s new identity the date signified its importance in the year 1950. The Indian Constitution was laid down and the dream of building a new India was dreamt. The day thus gave the Indian mass an opportunity to prosper the nation of its dreams by making it a democratic and republic nation.

The term ‘Republic’ is a state in which the supreme power lies with the public. The term republic came from French ‘république’, which has derived its roots from Latin ‘respublica’. The word ‘respublica’ is a combination of ‘res’ meaning matters or affairs and ‘publica’ (fem. of ‘publicus’) meaning public.

MP3: Mera Pehla Pehla Post

Well, as the heading goes on to scream loud enough that it is my very first post. Not only this, it is my very first attempt at something like this. Words are my strength and I always did want to do something of this sort: to express my heart out, to bring out on the surface what I really feel. I hope it’s just the breaking of the dawn (Oh! don’t make that straight face, I’m not a twihard :|)

Keep reading! Love!
God Bless All...!
